Charlie was finally snaffoddled after 3 attempts to have him fixed. After waiting so long. Thankfully he tested negative, was dewormed, got flea prevention and was neutered. He’s recovered from his ordeal and has gone back to live inside with his caregiver. We sent him back with supplies to help out.
Emmy is a young female who has been outside all winter. We were contacted by some volunteers who have been caring for a colony of cats.
Emmy is friendly and now fl/fiv tested (negative), spayed and being treated for worms and ear mites. Emmy is currently recovering inside, but she has no home, a foster home won’t be available for a while yet.
Please if you can foster Emmy or are interested in adopting her please let us know. Email us at email@example.com
Donations are also being accepted to help with our spay/neuter program. We have done 2 cats from this colony with 2 more to go.
Quinton is @ 12 weeks old. He was rescued from Botwood where he had been discovered outside in the freezing cold, with his Mom. His Mom came along willingly with us and we took her immediately to visit our friends at the Exploits Valley Animal Hospital where she was tested for felv/fl and dewormed, her spay was booked too. We actually think Suzzie was the mom to kittens we picked up in August as she looked identical to one of them. Thankfully we had a home ready and waiting for Suzzie and she is doing great.
It took a couple of days before Quinton was caught, using a humane cat trap and our special kitty lures. Poor Quinton was very scared. He too went to the vet, but he needs a while to gain confidence as he likes to hide. Quinton is a very gentle kitten, just very scared still. He will need a special home.
